Overview 

Brisbane North Diabetes Services is committed to complying with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principals 2014 and the privacy provisions of all applicable Commonwealth and State legislation.

The privacy policy covers all personal conversations, written information including documents shared via referrals and from clients, which is held in client e-files for compliance requirements.  This includes health information, opinions, reports, and referrals with any form of personal information that may disclose identify off any individual.  Brisbane North Diabetes Services will ensure that all identifiable information remains secure; will not be passed on to third parties; and will be destroyed as able, in line with legislative requirements for all discharged clients.  This includes information we have collected from people through our clinic, over the phone, via telehealth and/or video consultation and over the internet.
