My nursing experience spans over 25 years across practice areas of surgical, acute, community, practice nursing, aged care, infection control, quality management and clinical education, across metro, regional and rural remote health care. 

Given my Principal Qualification of Registered Nurse with Master’s in Clinical Nursing specialising in Chronic Disease Management, you can be assured of a holistic approach to all diabetes education of self-management principles.  

Regardless of whether you are newly diagnosed with any type of diabetes, still learning to master self-manage life with diabetes, or just popping in to find out what’s new in diabetes management

Additionally, I also have a special interest in diabetic wound management, with a proven ability to heal long term, complex & chronic wounds, having previously consulted with vascular surgeons at the RAH using a multifaceted and holistic approach to management.  

With vast Clinical Education & Clinical Facilitator experience, we welcome requests to train staff in diabetes care, diabetic wound care, care planning and management to support a person living with diabetes in community and aged care settings.
