This service appreciates that not all people work 9am-5pm including shift workers, business owners, carers, students, and juggling Diabetes on top of life can seem overwhelming.
Brisbane North Diabetes Services has got you covered with extended hours of business across 7 days of the week.
Bulk Billed for people with a Chronic Condition Management Plan from your GP.
Private Patient Initial Consultations $100.00 (1-hour).
Follow-up / review consultations $70.00 (45-minutes).
Private Patients Group Education Services.
NDSS upgrades for CGM &/or Insulin Pump $40. 00 (20–minute session to complete upgrades & conduct rapid assessment information).
Bulk Billed Group Education with Chronic Condition Management Plan (including intitial assessment for group suitability).
Private Patients $40 per 1 hour session.
Wound Management as per individual quote.
Staff Education and Support as per individual quote.
ABOUT US
Brisbane North Diabetes
Nursing history of over 22 years, in areas including Metro, Regional and Rural Remote Health Care. Proudly, I have held various positions including Residential Site Manager, Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Manager, Infection Control Co-ordinator, Clinical Educator, Quality & Education Manager to name a few.
I completed Master’s in Clinical Nursing – Chronic Disease Management in 2018 and Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management in 2023.
I am an experienced Nurse Educator & Clinical Facilitator and welcome requests via “Contact Us” page to train staff in diabetes care, diabetic wound care, and care planning and management.
Proven ability to resolve problematic and delayed wound healing of complex diabetes ulcers and welcome requests via “Contact Us” page for all enquiries.
